- Message content
This information is used solely to read and respond to your enquiry. It is sent by email to [email protected] and is not shared with any third party. A copy is retained in our self-hosted email archive as part of our ordinary business correspondence records. You may request deletion at any time using the contact details above.
b) Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves on infrastructure we control. Umami helps us understand which pages visitors find useful so we can improve the site.
Umami, in its default configuration as we run it, collects:
- The page you viewed and the page that referred you
- Your approximate country (derived from your IP address; the IP itself is not stored)
- Your browser type, operating system, device type, and screen size
- A daily-rotating anonymous hash used to estimate unique visitors
Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not send data to any third party. We do not use session recording or any form of individual user profiling.
c) Web server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL requested, HTTP status, and user-agent string) for short-term security monitoring and troubleshooting. These logs are not used for marketing or analytics and are not shared.
3. Cookies
This website does not set cookies.
4. Where your information is processed
The website and analytics are hosted on infrastructure we operate in Canada. DNS and web traffic for bredelogic.ca are proxied through Cloudflare, a US-headquartered company with a global network, which means requests to our site (including the information described above) may transit servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. While in transit through Cloudflare, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdictions through which it passes.
Email sent to [email protected] is delivered through Google Workspace and may be stored on Google servers outside Canada, including in the United States.
5. Consent
By using our website you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. By submitting the contact form you consent to us using your name, email address, and message to respond to your enquiry.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
6. Safeguards
We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic to the website, access controls on the systems where information is stored, and limiting access to Steve Elgersma.
